65-year-old who became the world's oldest mother of quads finally takes her babies home -

Annegret Raunigk became the oldest woman in the world to give birth to quadruplets, aged 65, in May. Doctors have finally ruled that Annegret, a mother of 17, from Berlin in Germany, whose oldest child is 44, and her four babies are strong enough to leave Berlin's Charite Hospital and go home. The tiny babies, which was born by Caesarian section after just six-and-a-half months, have spent months in an extremely delicate health, connected to breathing tubes in incubators. But, after growing 'wonderfully in a short time', they will be leaving the hospital the end of the month.
